ONGOING PROJECTS

Popularisation of Science (General & Hill Areas)

Under this scheme activities like exhibition, field camp, workshop, popular talk, mass rally, etc. are taken up for popularizing of science and for development of scientific temperament among all sections of the people of Assam.

Programmes undertaken

	One-day science popularization programme was organized through holding a series of activities like speech competition, S&T exhibition, seminar on science popularization etc. at Bokoliaghat H. S. School, Bokoliaghat, Karbi Anglong on 10th September, 2005 organised by Cherap Seroi(Helping hand ), Diphu, Karbi Anglong.
	Workshop cum seminar on S & T projects for weaker section and rural development at Chotalangpahr/ Borlangpahr, Karbi Anglong by GHAROA, Lumding, Nagaon.
	Science popularization for students in Karbi Anglong by Cherap Seroi , Karbi Anglong.
	Monitoring of activities of computer based facility in Karbi Anglong.
	Workshop cum seminar on S&T projects for weaker section and rural development, Karbi Anglong
	Science Popularization for students in Hill District of Karbi-Anglong by Chearap Seroi.
	Participated in district, state and national congress of NCSC by N.C. Hills and Karbi Anglong District
	Sky observation programme at Teok, Jorhat and Sivasagar by Pragjyotish Amateur Association, Guwahati
	Survey on identification of specific problem and awareness camp leading to entrepreneurship development programme had been conducted in N.C. Hills District by SSEAEP, Nagaon.
